Hellen Kim

Hellen Kim is a seasoned portfolio, program, and alliance manager with 19-year career in drug development and 10 years in program management within the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. She has played a pivotal role in driving innovation, leading cross-functional teams, and accelerating drug discovery from early-stage research to clinical development.

As a Senior Scientific Portfolio Manager at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Hellen led the program management activities for multiple oncology and inflammation programs, steering them toward critical milestones and IND-enabling development. Her expertise in strategic planning, risk assessment, and alliance management has facilitated the launch of three new biotech companies and strengthened collaborations with key industry partners.

Prior to her role at DFCI, Hellen held leadership positions at Solid Biosciences, Proteostasis Therapeutics, and Pfizer, where she managed strategic alliances, guided early discovery programs, and contributed to translational pharmacology and biomarker discovery. Her experience spans small molecules, biologics, and gene therapy, demonstrating her versatility and scientific acumen across multiple therapeutic areas.

With a foundation in biochemistry from Temple University and a certification in Project Portfolio Management, Hellen combines scientific expertise with operational excellence. She lived in Seoul South Korea and Philadelphia before moving to Boston.
